WFC: Defaulting “Proposed Grade” via FF/Dynamic Column — should we pass Grade ID or Grade Code?

Summary:

We need to default the value of the “Proposed Grade” column in a WFC plan.
We have multiple methods configured:

• Compensation Default & Override FF that derives the worker’s target grade
• Dynamic Column logic that can read from UDC/FF outputs

Our FF is working and retrieves the correct grade (verified using a User Defined Column that displays what the FF returns).
However, the “Proposed Grade” worksheet column itself remains blank and doesn’t reflect the default.
