How can we add a chain of users in the "route task" approval action of the performance doc approvals

Summary:

I am unable to add multiple users/chain of users in the "Route Task" action of the performance document approvals. It only gives me the option to add a single user. The option to add multiple users was previously available under "Adhoc Route".
