Best Practice for Hiding “Assigned By” Name in Oracle Goal Assignments

Summary:

We are beginning to assign annual goals to our leaders. During testing, I used the Manage Eligibility Processes to assign goals in bulk, and I noticed that my name appears in the “Assigned by” field in Goal Center.

Has anyone found a best practice or configuration that prevents an individual’s name from showing here?

We previously explored creating a “Performance Management” system account to run these processes, but our security team determined that approach to be a risk. I am hoping to learn whether other organizations have found alternative solutions outside of using a dedicated system account.

When we run this process nightly in production, it will use an account with an acronym as the name. My concern is that this acronym will appear in the “Assigned by” field, potentially causing confusion or prompting users to reach out with questions.

Howdy, Stranger!
