We have a requirement in Case Management where Line Managers are assigned to cases as Case Workers and are responsible for completing specific tasks until the case is closed.

For one particular case type, the customer expects a very high volume of cases. They would like to understand how manager changes are handled in such scenarios. Specifically, when a Line Manager changes due to termination, role change, or organisational restructuring, is there a standard or supported approach to automatically associate the new Line Manager with existing open cases?

Additionally, are there any delivered configurations, best practices, or recommended workarounds to manage this transition at scale without requiring manual updates for each case?
