How can we track employees working off-site using Oracle HCM Absence Management?
We’re looking for a way in Oracle HCM to track when employees work off-site (e.g., at a store location instead of head office). This would allow managers to approve time away from the office while maintaining visibility into who is on-site versus off-site for coverage purposes.
We are considering creating a new absence type to track employees working off-site, similar to how some organizations may manage work-from-home requests. There would not be a balance of allowed days, it’s purely for scheduling visibility. Off-site work may vary weekly so the solution needs to be flexible.
Does anyone currently use Absence Management for this purpose? If not, what alternatives would you suggest?
