Not getting values in history table of Contacts

Summary:

I am trying to build a data model to get the change history records for the out of box Contacts object which is present under Sales Tab.

Used below query :

select * from hz_parties_

but not getting any records.

Basic need is to derive a set of records that were unexpectedly updated in an import and get the first and last name that originally existed.

kinldy let me know if any thoughts.
