Inline images from SmartText not rendered immediately in Compose → Response (SR Messages)

We are implementing an automatic prefill of message body content when users open Service Request → Messages → Compose → Response (MessageTypeCd = ORA_SVC_RESPONSE). The message body is filled with HTML coming from SmartText/SmartTextProcess (header + footer).

According to Oracle documentation, SmartText can be used in service request messages and supports rich-text/HTML in message fields. However, inline images from SmartText are not rendered immediately when opening Compose → Response. Is this a known limitation/bug, and what is the supported approach to render images at editor open time?
