Creating repeating assist activity through Api

Summary:

We are exploring the option of building teams with assist activities. Assist - teamwork activity can be created from the application .

In the application, there is an option to create repeating assist activity by not providing an end date.

Can a repeating activity be created using API, where start date is given and no end date is given?

Also ,if it is possible to create a repeating activity via API, is it possible to end date and bulk updated all repeating activities for a resource?
