Data disappearing from Cross Referenced plan

We have two compensation plans - one is for merit/promotions/bonus recommendations and the other calculates the target bonus amount for each colleague. We have c. 40,000 employees in each plan.

The main comp plan pulls data from the target bonus plan - in total 4 columns are cross-referenced from the target bonus plan. The cross-referencing is set up on 'Same Cycle Display Name'.

We started our comp cycle last week and the target bonus numbers appeared as expected in the main comp plan worksheet. These numbers when totalled up produce the overall budget for managers.

We have loaded some job data into the worksheet but have not run a refresh of the plan as yet, but today randomly the target bonus numbers for around 1,000 employees disappeared from the main comp plan. The numbers are still visible in the target bonus plan.
