Note Email Template removes HTML formatting after Save in Oracle Sales Cloud

Hello,

We are experiencing a different behavior between Email Templates on Note entity versus Activity / Opportunity in Oracle Sales Cloud.

In Activity and Opportunity Email Templates, we can use custom HTML formatting (tables, background colors, fonts, etc.) and it works correctly.

However, in Note Email Templates:

  • The HTML appears correctly in the editor before saving.
  • After clicking Save and Close, the system automatically modifies the HTML.
  • Most formatting (background colors, layout, styling) is removed or simplified.

It seems that the Note entity applies stricter HTML sanitization compared to Activity and Opportunity.

Question:

  1. Which other entities (besides Note) apply similar HTML restrictions in Email Templates?
