Scenario

  • Employee Hire Date: 06/17/2020
  • Accrual Plan: Vacation Leave (Monthly accrual)
  • Accrual rule:
    • < 5 years of service → 10 hours
    • ≥ 5 years of service → 13.33 hours
  • Plan Term: 01/01/2026 – 12/31/2026

Given the hire date, the employee has more than 5 years of service as of 2026.

Observed Behavior

  • In Employee Self-Service, projected accruals show:
    • 01/31/2026 → 10 hours
    • 02/28/2026 and onward → 13.33 hours
  • In the Administrator view, projected accruals show:
    • 13.33 hours
