Ability to fetch list of assistants for a past date

Summary:

We are using Assist activities to define crews in our application. In one of the plugins ,we are using Get a list of assistants api to fetch the crew member details.

However the api does not support fetching past dated list of assistants. As a result we are not able to show the crew members in the plugin for a past date.

Is there a way to show crew members based on assist activity for a past date ?
