AfterGlobal Transfer Absence Request-The value of the attribute Employer or Absence Type isn't valid

After Global Transfer, Employee applying Absence Request with dates falling in past Assignment, getting this error "The value of the attribute Employer or Absence Type isn't valid"

An employee was globally transferred effective 8-Dec-2025. The user is attempting to apply leave starting from 1-Dec-2025, which falls under the employee’s previous assignment. However, the system is generating the following error:
"The value of the attribute Employer or AbsenceType isn't valid."

As per my understanding, this appears to be expected system behavior due to the global transfer. can anyone of you please confirm whether it is possible to apply leave  for a period prior to the global transfer date? If so, kindly advise on the appropriate approach.
