ZATCA verified XML embedded inside PDF/A3

Summary:

We have a requirement to generate the invoice output in PDF/A-3 format. Specifically, we need to embed a ZATCA verified XML file (generated from another report) inside the invoice PDF report.

When the user runs the report:

  • The invoice should be generated in PDF/A-3 format.
  • The XML file should be embedded/attached within the PDF as part of the output.

Could you please advise:

  1. Whether this is supported in Oracle BIP?
  2. If yes, what is the recommended approach to embed the XML inside the PDF at runtime?
  3. Are there any configuration steps or limitations we should be aware of?
