Can we Update AR Credit memo using FBDI autoinvoice import template?

Hi,
We need to update the print status for Accounts Receivable transactions and Credit Memos in bulk. We were able to update AR transactions via REST API, but received an error when attempting to update Credit Memos. Oracle has confirmed that Credit Memos cannot be updated through the REST API.
Can Credit Memos be updated using FBDI? In the AutoInvoiceImport template there is a "Printing Option" column — can this be used to update an existing Credit Memo’s print status?
Any guidance or suggestions would be appreciated.
