Oracle Fusion Sales Cloud Resource User conversion to PRM user

We are planning to migrate existing CRM resource users to PRM users as part of our system transition. During this process, we would like to understand whether there is any available workaround or supported method to directly convert an existing CRM user into a PRM user.
Currently, our concern is whether the existing user accounts, along with their associated data, roles, permissions, and configurations, can be converted without the need to deactivate the CRM user and create a new PRM user from scratch.
Could you please confirm if a direct conversion is possible, or if there is a recommended approach to handle this migration efficiently while minimizing impact on user access and historical data?
