Lead Converted via Import Without Opportunity Creation – Clarification on API convertLeadToOpty

Hello Oracle Support,

We are facing an issue while converting Leads to Opportunities through Import Management.

Observation:

  • When importing the lead conversion file, the Lead is getting converted, but the Opportunity is not being created.
  • As per our analysis, the API convertLeadToOpty requires a specific Content-Type header for the request.

However, this approach of passing headers is not applicable when using Web Services / Import Management, since we cannot control or pass HTTP headers in this process.

Clarifications Required:

  1. Why is the Lead getting converted without creating an Opportunity during import?
  2. Is there any supported approach to ensure Opportunity creation when converting leads via import
