There are three fields for party on Sales Order header

  • Customer (aka buying party aka sold to)
  • Bill-to Customer
  • Ship-to Customer

What is the significance of Customer (aka buying party aka sold to)?

What if Customer (aka buying party aka sold to) is different than Bill-to Customer and Ship-to Customer (both bill-to and ship-to being the same)?

The Sold-To Party on generated AR Invoice will be different as well. Are there any legal implications of Sold-to being different?
