bindings.LegalEmployerName.inputValue not working in EL Expression

Summary:

I am trying to hide some fields in Compensation page in 'My Teams'., based on the LE.

I am trying to use :

#{bindings.LegalEmployerName.inputValue=='XXXXX'} , but is is always returning false.

Any ideas around this?
