Redwood Succession Plan – Conditional DFF Visibility Based on Plan Type Code Not Working

We are configuring a Descriptive Flexfield (HRM_PLANS) on the Redwood Create Succession Plan page.

Requirement:
The “Approver” DFF segment should be visible only when Plan Type Code = INCUMBENT.

Configuration Details

  • Flexfield: HRM_PLANS
  • Segment: Approver
  • Value Set: Table-validated (Active Employees only)
  • Flexfield deployed successfully
  • No security restrictions

In Visual Builder Studio (Express Mode):

Default Rule

  • Approver → Hidden
  • Not Required

Conditional Rule

  • Field Values → talentSuccessionPlans → Plan Type Code equals INCUMBENT
  • Approver → Visible

Project published.

Observed Behavior

On the Redwood Succession Plan Create page:

  • When Plan Type = Job → Approver remains hidden (expected)
  • When switching to Plan Type = Incumbent → Approver does not dynamically appear

Howdy, Stranger!
