Adding an hyperlink in a Knowledge Article that opens in a new page

I’m creating a Knowledge Article in Redwood and need to add a hyperlink that opens in a new browser tab instead of the same window.

When I insert the URL using the article editor, it always opens in the same tab. I’ve tried checking for HTML or formatting options, but I don’t see a setting for target="_blank" or any way to control link behavior.

Is there a supported method in Knowledge Articles to make a hyperlink open in a new tab?
If not, is this a platform limitation or does it depend on editor configuration?
