How to update Thankyou sent in Feedback/personNote after Thankyou is sent once to author?

The personnote and feedback provided to worker/peer. Now the peer can thank the author for the feedback provided. Is there a way to restrict the thankyou option option once send once. Right now, thankyou can be triggered as many times the user want to. How to prevent this or is there a specific flag to update the thankyou sent.

Can someone help to understand why the thankyou flag which is modifiable as per HCM documentation, cannot be updated using PATCH request
