B2B SO Supply line goes to exception because promised date was changed in PO
In our B2B order flow we are seeing supply exceptions when the supplier promises an earlier delivery date than the customer’s requested date: for example, a customer order requests delivery on March 30, 2026, a purchase order is created, and the supplier initially confirms March 30 but later updates the promise to March 25 to meet demand; instead of accepting the earlier supply, the system flags the supply order details as an exception.
