Budget Pool linked to Options for Individual Compensation Plans

Dear Community,

We're starting to implement Individual Compensation for our Client.

In the Individual Compensation Plans set up, we noticed the field "Budget Pools", fillable while adding Plan Options.

We were wondering about the utility of this field if our Client does not use Budgeting in their processes.

Is someone able to help us understand more about this topic?
