Element Rate Periodicity of Contributor

Hi,

we're using rate-based salaries and want to have a monthly rate that is element based. The rate is full time and Amount based.

When creating the rate, the rate contributor is automatically added for the Input Value Amount.

Based on the documentation we're supposed to set all periodicities to Calendar Month, including the Input Value contributor.

This, however, leads to an incorrect result, when any salary is edited the second time.

During creation of a salary everything is fine, and all values in the database in the salary pay components and element entries are correct.

When opening the page again for an update, or when running the rate-based salary process, however, the rate amount gets changed. It is divided by 12. It seems like the rates engine reads out the element entry, and then interprets it as an annual amount, and converts it to the rate contributor periodicity.
