Extension dimension not working for Territories

Summary:

We've created a customer centric territory , in which we've two dimensions Standard: zip code and custom: Extension 1( Custom FCL). The coverages are updated and reflecting in territories area and then we tried assigning customers(accounts) to territories with run assignment . For zip , it's working fine but the extension1 which we used , assignment is not working.
