Defaulting 'Appointment' fields in 'Log an Interaction', WrapUps fields are disappearing

Tried to default Appointment's Subject field and Assignee's/ Contacts to "Log an Interaction" Subject and Participants fields respectively using onCreate event listener in Interactions object, by doing so, since I return the row there in the action chain, the fields which come from WrapUps object(Notes, Outcome, Attachments) is disappearing from UI(see the attachment) as the Interaction page is a combination of both Interaction and WrapUps objects which is OOTB.
