Charge lines (Coverage items) failing dropship flow in Sales Order

Hi, we have coverage items as Additional Charges. For dropship scenarios, when charges are added along with the item line, the following error comes up:

Error - The UOM isn't valid. Verify that the UOM is active. When the UOM isn't the primary UOM of the item in the inventory organization there must be an active standard UOM conversion or interclass UOM conversion for the provided UOM

We have already set the cost price at the item level and the UOMs are also valid for charges.

The error doesn't comes up when only item line is added. Do we need to have any additional configuration for the scenarios where a coverage charge line will be added with the dropship item?
