Retrieving and showing info from third party Systems

Hi,

we need to create reports and documents related to info retrieved via API from a third party system.

Furthermore we need to show those data in Account subtab.

For the subtab, we tried to create the page using the Mashup Content but invoking the API is just shown the Response JSON code: instead, is it possible to show this data in a UI page?
About the Analytics Reports, is it possible to create a "virtual" external table with the data extracted each time in "real time" via API or through Web Service invoking?
