Enable assignment number on Manage assignee page in goal plan

in Performance Management

When we navigate to My client groups » Goals » Goal Plan » Select a Goal plan » … » Manage assignee - the details does not show the assignment number or assignment status and hence it becomes difficult to add or delete goals.

When I go through advance mode in VB, I was able to customize Virtual Object and add assignment number for field. Changes are not visible on page and it doesnt get reflected in preview mode also.

Do we have to perform any more action after adding value in Virtual Object
