Value Set in Absence Validation Formula

Hi Experts,

I am developing a validation formula that allows workers to request a specific number of days based on their work seniority outside our organization. Our goal is to collect and store this seniority information in the Work History profile and then create a value set to integrate this seniority into the validation formula. However, we are facing an issue where the formula's functionality is inconsistent—it works sporadically, but mostly fails.
