Sync Asset Number Between Maintenance and Fixed Assets with Receipt Serial Number

Hi,

I have a client requirement to align asset numbers between Maintenance and Fixed Assets.

When receiving an asset PO with a serial number, the client wants the asset created in both Maintenance and Fixed Assets to have the same asset number as the serial number entered at receipt.

Is this doable in Oracle Fusion Cloud?
If yes, what’s the best way to achieve it? Configuration or customization?
