Are there any performance issues or slowness due to enabling of audits for time and labor

Hello : A general question on enabling audit for time cards

Is it recommended to enable audits for time cards ? Will it cause any performance issues while submitting time cards when rules are triggered ? what all factor should we consider in order to enable or not enable the audit ? For example : If in an organization employees enter 10-15 rows of data and on daily basis make edits to time cards, then is it recommended to enable audit or will it cause performance or user experience issue.
