Redwood: Chaange salary resulting in negative adjusted amount and percentage

Hi,

In redwood, while chnaging the salary of any employee, the new amount should add up to the current one and similarly the adjusted amount and % field value will auto calculate. But in my case the adjusted amount and % field is showing negative values. I checked the setup of salary basis and it was configured as " Salary amount is determined by rates" and overall salary is the derived rates adding up all the other components in the salary basis.

Anyone can help to resolve and check why the negative amounts are populating?
