Absence Workflows are not working for Contingent Workers

Hi,

We have workflows configured for Absence Plans, there is not restriction on the PERSON TYPE.

The workflows are not working for Contingent workers. There is not trace of the transaction in Transaction Console/ Manager Not receiving the notification.

But Contingent Workers is able to see the status as awaiting approval.

Appreciate any help/inputs or direction for this issue.
