Issue with Absence Duration Calculation for Multi-Shift 24-Hour Schedule

I’m facing an issue with absence duration calculation in Oracle.
When an employee selects any absence type, the system is calculating the duration as 24 hours, whereas it should only calculate 7 hours.
The employee is assigned to a 24-hour schedule, which is split into 3 shifts, and each shift should correspond to approximately 7–8 hours. Previously, this setup was working correctly with the same schedule, but recently the duration is defaulting to 24 hours regardless of the shift.
