Absence duration shows 0, when an overnight employee applies for absence

in Workforce Management

We recently implemented Oracle time and labor. We have a team of employees that work in overnight shifts (10:00 PM - 6:30 AM). When one of them applies for absence for the whole hours, the duration shows 0. The duration gives the correct numbers if the absence is broken down into 2 records.

  1. 10:00 PM - 11:59 PM (1.98 hrs)
  2. 12:00 AM - 6:30 AM (6.5 hrs)

I attached the screenshots on how it is working for additional information.

Have anyone encountered this issue before or can you suggest on how to work through this one?
