Unable to Add Skills in Talent Profile

Hello Experts,

I’m currently testing Skills and Qualifications in Oracle HCM and encountered an issue when trying to add skills to an employee profile.

Navigation Used

My Client Groups > Talent Profiles > Search Employee > Skills and Qualifications

When I open the Skills and Qualifications section for an employee, I do not see an option to manually add skills. Instead, the following message is displayed:

“After skills are assigned in Skills Center, you can see them here.”

My Questions

  1. Is manual addition of skills from the Talent Profile page no longer supported?
  2. Do all skills now need to be assigned through the Skills Center?
