Talent Profile "title" not matching person assignment

I have a user who is currently an employee in a role with Title "My Job 2". on the Assignment page the title and job appear correctly. In the profile on the work history the current role also shows correctly. but at the very top of the page where the users name is and a title below the name it says "My Job 1". We do not currently use position management and there does not appear to be a way to edit this. Is there a process sync that needs to be run to have the
