Prevent Sales Order Line Updates After Pick Release Using Processing Constraints

We have a business requirement in Oracle Fusion Order Management / Inventory where we need to control updates on a Sales Order Line based on its fulfillment status.

🔹 Business Requirement

  • Once a Sales Order Line is Pick Released, users should NOT be able to update the sales order line.
  • However, if:
    • The pick is Cancelled, OR
    • The pick is Backordered / Shipment Backorderd,
      then the sales order line should become editable again.
