OFS Forms Design Recommendation for Large-Scale Checklist Implementation
Summary:
We have a business requirement where technicians need to fill multiple checklists during activity execution in Oracle Field Service.
Current requirement:
- Around 200 Activity Types
- Each Activity Type requires approximately 2 checklists/forms
- Total expected forms/checklists: around 400
We would like Oracle guidance on the recommended and scalable approach for this implementation.
Option 1:
- Create 400 separate Forms individually and map accordingly
Option 2:
- Create only 2 Forms
- Inside each Form, create around 200 sections
- Use visibility conditions / activity type based conditions to display relevant sections dynamically
We would like to understand:
- Which approach is recommended from Oracle best practices perspective
- Performance impact considerations on OFS Mobile/UI
