FFS Activity Rejection Process for Bucket/Dispatcher Assignment Handling
Hi Team,
We would like to understand the recommended approach in Oracle Fusion Field Service(FFS) for activity rejection scenarios.
Current hierarchy:
Parent Activity → Bucket → Technician
Business requirement:
Dispatcher / Planner / Manager should be able to reject activities assigned to their bucket/resource and send them back to the parent bucket or previous assignment queue.
We would like clarification on the following:
- Is there any OOB functionality available in FFS to reject an assigned activity?
- Can activity rejection be handled through Message Scenarios / email actions?
- Example: Dispatcher receives assignment notification mail and rejects directly from mail.
- On rejection, activity should automatically move back to parent bucket.
