Manage pending absence transaction for employee who has resigned

Hi,

I would like to ask for advise on pending transaction in transaction console for employee who has resigned. Currently, in the transaction console we have a lot of absence transaction that is in "In progress" state because employee who submitted the leave has resigned and their managers have not cleared all the transaction before the employee resigned. But now, the manager keeps on getting notification to approve but they can no longer be approved since the employee has resigned. Is there any way to manage this pending transaction or the notification apart from terminating the process because this will remove
