We are unable to add a bank account to the customer account

Summary:

We have a bank account at the customer account level, currently set up with EUR currency, and we need to change it to GBP.

  1. When we try to update the currency from EUR to GBP, we receive the error: “A record with this combination already exists.”
  2. We then tried end-dating the existing EUR bank account and creating a new record with the same details but with GBP selected as the currency. However, we still received the same error, even though no other record with this combination exists.
  3. We also tried updating the EUR bank account details (for example, changing the bank account number and IBAN so it would not be recognized as a duplicate) before end-dating it, but this approach also did not work.
