We are unable to add a bank account to the customer account
Summary:
We have a bank account at the customer account level, currently set up with EUR currency, and we need to change it to GBP.
- When we try to update the currency from EUR to GBP, we receive the error: “A record with this combination already exists.”
- We then tried end-dating the existing EUR bank account and creating a new record with the same details but with GBP selected as the currency. However, we still received the same error, even though no other record with this combination exists.
- We also tried updating the EUR bank account details (for example, changing the bank account number and IBAN so it would not be recognized as a duplicate) before end-dating it, but this approach also did not work.
