Time card field payroll time type still reportable after HCM group eligibility ends mid-period

Hello everyone,
We have a scenario as below:
Environment: Oracle Fusion Cloud Time and Labor.

Setup

  • We have a multi-attribute time card field (payroll time type) whose values are filtered by HCM groups.
  • HCM group membership is derived through a value set (SQL query).
  • For a given worker, eligibility for one payroll time type (e.g. an overtime / meal allowance) is valid only for part of a time card period. The worker's group membership is end-dated within the period: eligible up to day X, not eligible from day X+1.

Behavior observed

  • After re-evaluating group membership (Evaluate Group Membership), the worker can still report that payroll time type on dates after the eligibility end date, within the same time card period. No validation error is raised on Save or Submit for the ineligible dates.
