Asset Numbering sequential and user-defined context similar to PIM Item numbering

Is there any supported functionality in Oracle Fusion Maintenance to define configurable asset numbering rules (prefixes, segments, and automatic sequencing) similar to item numbering in PIM or work order numbering in Maintenance? If not, what Oracle-recommended approach exists to automate and control asset numbering while ensuring uniqueness and governance?
