Use different Equipment for each leg shipment
Summary:
In OTM, we have a scenario involving a three-leg shipment:
- First Leg – Truckload (TL)
- Second Leg – Rail
- Third Leg – Truckload (TL)
For the first leg, a truck is assigned as the equipment. The second leg uses rail equipment, and the third leg requires a different truck/equipment
Currently, we are maintaining the truck information directly as equipment because Fleet Management license is not purchased, and therefore the standard truck functionality is not being used.
We attempted to use the Change Equipment Group action; however, it did not produce the expected results. Additionally, when we manually changed the equipment at the shipment equipment level, the change was reflected across the shipments of other legs as well, whereas the requirement is to have different equipment assigned to each TL leg independently.
