Work Order search is not appearing after checking in to workstation

Summary:

After enabling workstations and doing some preliminary testing, I have checked into the workstation and now the search box for searching a work order has disappeared. It was there for the beginning of my testing and after logging out and back in, I am no longer seeing it and only able to execute work orders by checking out, and clicking 'Select Work Order Operation' where I can search for the work order and still do the Start and Stop times. Is this expected behavior and if so what changed?
