Performance Document-Hide employee acknowledgment checkbox

We currently have the task 'Worker Final Feedback' enabled on the template but would like to hide the Acknowledgment checkbox. I have gone into VBS and have set that setting to True but it is not hiding the checkbox. Does anyone know if this is a bug or if there's another way to do this?

We are currently on R13 Redwood 26B
