Redwood Learning: Impact of Transition from Self-Paced Offering to Self-Paced Learnin

edited Jun 26, 2026 7:37AM in Performance Management 1 comment

Summary:

We are currently assessing the Redwood Learning Administration update (May 2026), specifically the transition from “Self-Paced Offering” to “Self-Paced Learning”, as described in the following documentation: redwood-learning-administration-may-2026.pdf

From our understanding, this change appears to be more than a UI enhancement and instead represents a structural shift in the underlying data model.

Before starting the transition, we would like to better understand the technical implications.

Key Questions:

1. Data Model / Database Structure including Reports

- Are new tables or views introduced for Self-Paced Learning?

- Will existing offering-related tables remain active or be deprecated?

- How are object IDs (e.g., offering IDs, assignment IDs) affected during cloning?

Howdy, Stranger!
